General
One of the most popular models in the Kala series, the Kala Satin Mahogany Concert ukulele combines a warm, full-bodied sound with a comfortable size and stylish finish. The soundboard is made entirely of mahogany, a popular type of wood known for its warm and balanced tone. Combined with the concert size, this instrument delivers a rich sound with more volume and a deeper bass response than the smaller soprano ukulele. The satin finish not only brings out the natural wood texture beautifully, but also provides a pleasant, smooth feel while playing. The neck is also made of mahogany and features a rosewood fingerboard with carefully finished frets, adding to playing comfort. The Graph Tech NuBone nut and bridge saddle improve tone transfer and sustain, while the Aquila Super Nylgut strings stay perfectly in tune even during long and intensive use. Visually, this ukulele is simple yet elegant, with subtle ivory binding and a classic white rosette around the sound hole. Its light weight and sturdy construction also make it ideal for travelling or taking to gigs. A sturdy gig bag is included in the price.
