This extra-comfortable, electro-acoustic model is fully prepped for gigs and rehearsals and comes equipped with a UK-500B preamp system to guarantee ample volume in larger rooms. Carved mainly out of mahogany, the UBASS-JYMN-BK-FS doesn't just look good but sounds good and has been finished with a Graph Tech TUSQ nut and saddle for consistent tone and tuning stability. So you can get it to the venue, Kala kindly include a matching gig bag. This is the black edition.

Wrote the following about Kala U-Bass Journeyman Black Electro-Acoustic Bass Ukulele with Gig Bag

Eerlijk gezegd was de eerste kennismaking even schrikken vanwege de enigszins plastic uitstraling van het instrument. Maar al snel blijkt het geluid helemaal oké te zijn. Ongelofelijk dat er zo’n mooie basklank in blijkt te zitten. Vergeleken met mijn basgitaar zitten de fretten (uiteraard) veel dichter op elkaar. Dat is even wennen.
Alles bij elkaar een mooie aanwinst voor mijn instrumentarium.
