The SKB 3i case 238x187x153mm DT is a compact hard case from the iSeries: designed to safely transport and store fragile equipment. This includes delicate electronics, A/V equipment, microphones, cables or accessories that really need protection whilst on the move. The case is injection-moulded from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasket-sealed edge, making it water- and dust-tight. Furthermore, the design is submersible and built to MIL-STD 810H standards for serious reliability.

Designed for harsh conditions

As you’d expect from SKB, this iSeries case is built to take a beating. The construction is resistant to corrosion and impact damage, and is also (MIL-STD 810H) resistant to UV, solvents and mould. Handy features such as the moulded-in hinge and the Trigger Latch® System ensure a secure, consistent seal. This makes it an excellent choice for touring, on-location work or storage, where you don’t want to constantly worry about whether your gear will arrive dry and safe.

Practical features for everyday use

In terms of handling, the case features a snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle, ensuring it sits comfortably in the hand. It also features an automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve (MIL-STD 810H), which is useful in the event of pressure differences (for example, whilst flying). This model has no built-in wheels or castors, which keeps it compact and lightweight. The iSeries range is available in many sizes and interior configurations, so you can choose a suitable layout depending on your application.
