The SKB iSeries 3i-1717-16B-C is a sturdy hard case designed for the safe transport and storage of delicate equipment. The case is injection-moulded and made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, ensuring your gear remains well protected during transport. Thanks to its gasket-sealed construction, the case is water- and dust-tight and can even be submerged in accordance with MIL-STD 810H. With internal dimensions of 432 x 432 x 400 mm, there is ample space for a wide range of applications, from AV equipment to tools and accessories.

This iSeries case is designed to perform in challenging conditions. It is resistant to corrosion and impact damage, offering extra peace of mind when you’re frequently on the move. In addition, the case is resistant to UV, solvents and mould (MIL-STD 810H), ensuring it retains its quality even with intensive use and in outdoor locations. The moulded-in hinge contributes to a solid construction with reliable alignment, ensuring that opening and closing remain smooth, even after frequent use.

Handy features for everyday use

For quick and secure closure, the case is fitted with the Trigger Latch® System. Lifting and carrying are comfortable thanks to the snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle. There is also an automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve (MIL-STD 810H), which is useful for dealing with pressure differences whilst travelling or during transport. The padlock loops allow you to secure the case with a padlock (not included). A no-nonsense hard case that protects your equipment when you don’t want to take any risks.
