The SKB 3i case 556x429x264mm DT is a sturdy iSeries hard case designed for the safe transport and storage of sensitive equipment. The case is injection-moulded and made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, making it suitable for intensive use. The hard exterior is impact-resistant and is designed for situations where an ordinary bag simply does not offer enough protection. With generous internal dimensions of 55.88 x 43.18 x 31.75 cm, there’s plenty of room for a wide range of gear, whilst everything remains neatly protected.

Mil-Standard sealing and protection

This SKB is gasket-sealed and therefore watertight and dustproof. Furthermore, the case is submersible in accordance with MIL-STD 810H, so you can rely on its protection even in wet, dusty or harsh conditions. The case is designed to withstand corrosion and impact damage and is also resistant to UV, solvents and mould (MIL-STD 810H). It’s also well-suited to a wide range of temperatures: the case is rated for use from -56.11 °C to 82.22 °C. Ideal for travel, on-site work and storage.

Handy features for everyday use

The standard features are typical of SKB: a moulded-in hinge, padlock loops and the Trigger Latch® System ensure a reliable seal and quick access. The snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle offers extra comfort when carrying and lifting. It also features an automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve (MIL-STD 810H), which is useful for dealing with pressure differences during transport. Please note: this model does not have built-in wheels or castors, making it particularly suitable for those who want maximum storage capacity and who usually lift the case or place it in a vehicle.
