The SKB iSeries 3i-2914-15B-C is a robust hard case designed for the safe transport and storage of sensitive equipment. The case is injection-moulded and made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin, making it highly resistant to rough handling. Thanks to its gasket-sealed construction, it is water- and dust-tight and even submersible in accordance with MIL-C-4150J. With internal dimensions of 737 x 356 x 381 mm, you have plenty of space for items such as AV equipment, measuring instruments or other valuable items that require maximum protection whilst on the move.

Mil-standard protection on the move

This SKB is designed for situations where you need to be able to rely on your case. The construction is resistant to corrosion and impact damage, and is also less susceptible to the effects of UV light, solvents and mould (MIL-STD 810H). A moulded-in hinge ensures long-term reliability. The patented ‘trigger release’ latches ensure a secure closure, whilst the comfortable snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handles make carrying and moving the case a pleasure. In this way, this iSeries combines solid construction with practical details for everyday use.

Smart handling of pressure and temperature changes

Pressure differences can occur during transport, for example whilst travelling or in changing weather conditions. That is why the case is fitted with an automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve in accordance with MIL-STD-648C, which makes opening and closing easier. Furthermore, the case is suitable for use in a wide range of temperatures, from –56.11 °C to 82.22 °C. This makes the 3i-2914-15B-C a good choice for professionals who want to keep their equipment safe, even when conditions are far from ideal.
