This SKB iSeries injection-moulded case is built for heavy-duty transport in harsh conditions. The case is made from ultra-strong polypropylene copolymer and features a gasket-sealed closure, making it water- and dust-tight and even submersible (MIL-STD 810H). This makes it a reliable choice for anyone wishing to transport valuable equipment safely. The hard outer shell is resistant to corrosion and impact, whilst the construction is also resistant to UV, solvents and even mould.

Mil-standard protection, ready for the road

The case is designed to MIL-STD 810H standards and combines a sturdy, impact-resistant body with practical features for everyday use. These include a moulded-in hinge, padlock loops and the SKB Trigger Latch® System for quick and secure closure. Also handy: the automatic pressure equalisation valve (MIL-STD 810H), ensuring the case opens smoothly at altitude or following temperature changes. With these features, the case is ideal for intensive use on tours, in hire, AV productions and on location jobs.

Wheels and ergonomics for added convenience

Despite its robust construction, this SKB 3i case is easy to handle thanks to the built-in pull handle and wheels. The snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle also provides a comfortable, firm grip when lifting the case. With internal dimensions of 762 x 533 x 457 mm, there’s plenty of space for larger sets or multiple items together, whilst the deep base and lid depth combine to provide a useful internal height.
