SKB 3i Think Tank Zippered universal case

General

The SKB 3i Think Tank Zippered is an iSeries injection-moulded hard case for anyone who wants to transport sensitive equipment safely. The case is made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and features a gasket-sealed closure. This makes it water- and dust-tight and even submersible in accordance with MIL-STD 810H. An added bonus is that this model is approved as airline carry-on size, meaning you can use it (subject to airline regulations) as hand luggage for your essentials.

Trolley size with sturdy hardware

Thanks to the built-in wheels, you can easily take this case with you through studios, venues and airports. The moulded-in hinge ensures a solid construction, and the Trigger Latch® System keeps the case securely closed. It is also fitted with a snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle, ensuring that carrying and manoeuvring remain comfortable. The padlock loops allow you to secure the case with a padlock (not included), which is handy for travelling, storage or when you need to leave your gear unattended for a short while.

Mil-STD protection, even under pressure and extreme temperatures

As you would expect from the SKB iSeries range, this case is built for harsh conditions. It is resistant to corrosion and impact damage, and also offers protection against UV rays, solvents and mould (MIL-STD 810H). It also features an automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve (MIL-STD 810H), ensuring that pressure differences have less impact on opening and closing. From cold to heat, it remains operational within the specified temperature limits, making it suitable for intensive use whilst on the move.
