The SKB 6U Injection-Moulded 13” Deep Rack Frame is a separate internal rack frame for the SKB Fly Rack system. Useful for users who already own a matching iSeries Fly Rack case and wish to build additional frames with equipment, so you can swap them out quickly on site and be ready to work straight away. The top and bottom are injection-moulded for low weight, whilst the front and rear feature steel, threaded rack rails. Rack screws with a 10-32 thread are included.

Quick changes, modular assembly

With this 6U frame, you can assemble your rack set in advance and swap it into your Fly Rack case as a single unit. This saves time during set-up and take-down, especially if you use multiple set-ups. Thanks to the rubber feet, you can also stack frames stably, making it easy to create a modular (studio) setup. The rail-to-rail depth is 13 inches (33.02 cm), suitable for 13” deep Fly Rack configurations where your equipment can be neatly mounted on both the front and rear rails.

Compatibility and key considerations

This rack frame is an accessory and not a transport case. It is intended for use in combination with the correct SKB iSeries Fly Rack case; for this model, that is the SKB 3i-2317M146U. Please note: individual rack frames are not intended for transport without the matching iSeries case. Furthermore, individual rack frames are not covered by warranty. If you primarily use the frame in a fixed setup, you’ll benefit most from its lightweight construction, sturdy rails and stackable design.
