General

The SKB iSeries 4217 Ice Fishing case is a waterproof hard case built to military specifications for maximum strength and reliability. It offers ample space for your ice fishing kit, such as tackle and up to 6 rods. Thanks to its submersible construction, you can take your gear with you with complete peace of mind in wet, cold and harsh conditions, without worrying about splashing water, dust or impacts whilst on the move.

Mil-Standard protection for heavy-duty use

This iSeries case is made from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin and complies with MIL-STD 810H. This means it features a gasket-sealed, water- and dust-tight closure and a design that is resistant to corrosion and impact. The case is also resistant to UV, solvents and even mould. Handy features such as the moulded-in hinge, the padlock loops and the Trigger Latch® System make it ready for intensive use, from the car to the ice.

Practical transport and clever details

As well as protection, this SKB is all about ease of use. The case features a snap-down rubber over-moulded cushion grip handle and is fitted with wheels with a built-in pull handle, so you can move it easily even when fully loaded. An automatic pressure-equalisation valve (MIL-STD 810H) helps to compensate for changes in altitude and pressure, ensuring the case remains easy to open even during transport and storage.
