The Blackmagic Design Video Assist 5" 12G HDR takes camera shots straight to a professional level. This versatile device combines a bright 5-inch HDR monitor with powerful recording and scope functions, making it ideal for both on-location and studio shoots. Thanks to 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a connections, you can easily work with modern and older cameras in HD, UHD or 4K DCI, up to a resolution of 2160p60. The built-in recorder saves footage directly to UHS-II SD cards or an external USB-C drive, entirely in 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes, DNx or Blackmagic RAW (depending on the camera). With professional scopes, focus assist, exposure tools and a super-bright touchscreen (2500 nits, DCI-P3 colour gamut), you can always work with precision, even in bright sunlight. Everything can be controlled quickly via the user-friendly touchscreen, whilst long shooting days are no problem thanks to the dual L-series battery slots.
