General

It's super small, but oh so practical: this RGBlink mini-pro v3 streaming switcher. If you want to do image direction (or camera direction) for a local event, and you want to use your own video switcher, this is the candidate. Connect up to four HDMI sources, and some audio equipment, and you're 'good to go'. Operation has been kept simple in terms of controllers, but don't forget that the little screen is a touch-screen, so you do the rest with that. So even though the interface seems minimal, you still get the necessary goodies: chroma-key, image transitions, and even a joystick to control a PTZ camera. Streaming is possible, recording is possible, and for this investment.... incredibly fun!
