A jack-of-all-trades, the RGBlink TAO 1Pro combines a preview monitor, a video switcher and a network port into one so you can connect four sources and output the result via USB 2.0 ports. The TAO 1Pro features a 5.5" touch-display for smooth operation and comes including a USB-C power supply.

na een moeilijke firmware update - is de TAO op een alpha versie 2.40 gezet. Je leest het goed : alpha versie!! Niet eens nog een beta variant beschikbaar. Los van dat werkt het apparaat wel, alleen NDI hx trouwens. En niet onbelangrijk: de hdmi input (48khz audio) zet de TAO automatisch om in 44,1 khz en gaat dan via NDI via de verkeerde samplerate het netwerk op. Dat resulteert in audio problemen in bv Vmix. Het geluid is stotterend, te laag in pitch en niet lipsync. Dus: Twee sterren voor de mogelijkheden die wel werken, maar eigenlijk onbruikbaar door slechte audio via hdmi. Daarnaast is het direct streamen van de TAO superonhandig. Je moet een link pasten op een usb stick en die importeren op de TAO :(
