Developed in collaboration with Pedaltrain, Dunlop's CBJ95 Cry Baby Junior Wah was literally born to be strapped to a pedalboard and features infinitely practical front-mounted connectors so you can save as much precious board space as possible and achieve nice and clean cable management. Also, at 20.3 centimetres long, the Cry Baby Junior is actually perfectly cut out for Pedaltrain's Metro, Classic, Novo and Terra Series pedalboards.

The CBJ95 Cry Baby Junior Wah: 3 Modes

With the CBJ95, Dunlop don't just release a space-saving wah pedal, but one that's remarkably versatile in terms of sounds. The 3-way switch fitted to the side lets you select one of three popular types of wah: 'H' gives you the modern sound of the Dunlop GCB95, 'M' offers the mid-range growl of more vintage wah pedals, and 'L' encompasses a beautifully dark and warm sound.

Wrote the following about Dunlop CBJ95 Cry Baby Junior Wah with 3 Modes and Front-Mounted Connectors

Had ooit in 1968 één van de eerste Cry Baby’s. Maar zoals dat gaat, verkocht. Door de jaren heen meerdere wahs gehad: oa Vox wah, Jimi Hendrix wah, Vox wah 847, Jimi Hendrix signature wah (met daarin Vox 846), daarna de VOX 846 HW, alle in volgorde steeds meer klinkend naar mijn wensen, hoe een wah moet klinken. En toen was daar de CRY BABY JUNIOR met drie modi.
Iets kleiner dan de originele wah’s, prima formaat. LOW voor een warme, donkere sweep, VINTAGE iets scherper van toon en HIGH voor de meest ‘agressieve’ sweep. Allemaal prima bruikbaar en nog wel in één apparaat. Voor mij is de LOW-stand DE eye-opener, wat een klank, je zou bijna niets anders meer hoeven. Doet me zo denken aan mijn Cry Baby uit 1968, maar … dat kan ook tussen mijn oren zitten. Het aan- en uitzetten gaat zoveel eenvoudiger/gemakkelijker dan bij alle conventionele wahs. En nog één ding, het led-lampje dat in de AAN-stand brandt, wat een vondst en zo handig.
Mag helder zijn, voor mij de beste wah, die ik ben tegengekomen. Een aanrader.
