The mouthpiece alone is fairly sensitive - even if you've swapped out the one that came with your saxophone as standard. Just in case you've yet to upgrade, this pack includes a good quality mouthpiece complete with protective cap, and since you can't do much without a reed, a pack of two have been thrown in as well as a reed guard to keep them fresh. A spare ligature has also been packed in for securing a reed to the mouthpiece, alongside a purpose-designed brush for drying and cleaning the interior of the mouthpiece and a stick of cork grease.
