Pressure plates are small parts of the ligature, but they do have an impact on your sound. So too with the Vandoren PP29 leather pressure plates for the ligature of your baritone saxophone. These three pressure plates each have their individual impact on your sound. The first pressure plate is made of metal. It makes your sound more compact and adds colour. The second pressure plate is made of leather and makes your sound slightly darker. Then there is the third pressure plate, which makes the sound rounder and warmer.
