Wireless microphone systems have become increasingly popular over the last few years, because wireless technology has become much easier to put together, resulting in cheaper models! Devine are joining in with this development and presents the WMD 168 - a practical microphone system with functions that you would usually only find in more expensive versions. Think of the IR synchronisation function and built-in LCD displays.
Functionality of the WMD 168
The WMD 168 microphone system consists of a compact 19-inch receiver, and two wireless handheld microphones which are powered by two AA batteries a piece. This way, a battery life of 8 to 20 hours can be achieved, depending on the battery quality. You can easily read the necessary information, via the LCD display, on the receiver and handheld microphones. On the receiver you can read the set frequency and channel, as well as the strength of the signal. The handheld microphone shows information about battery status, output power and audio volume.
Infrared synchronisation
Ease of use is assured, thanks to the infrared frequency synchronisation. Simply hold the wireless microphone in front of the receiver's IR sensor and automatically sync the two devices! If the set frequency does suffer from a bit of interference, you can manually adjust the frequencies on the microphone or on the receiver. Thanks to the standard locking mechanism on the microphone's and the receiver's buttons, you can allow only a sound engineer to adjust the settings.
Tips or comments about this productPlease note: As of August 2015, a new version of this product will be delivered which has a few important differences, compared to its predecessor. The new version will show more information on the display itself, the IR transmitter will be located on the right of the receiver, and next to the display, you'll find a set of two buttons to easily adjust both microphone frequencies.

Hij is duur, de microfoons zijn wat zwaarder, de levertijd duurt langer dan een andere draadloze set.
Maar wat krijg je wel. Een microfoon met een goed bereik. 500 m door 3 gewapende betonnen muren en er kwam nog een helder geluid uit. De microfoons zijn met de gevoeligheid in te stellen. Ze reageren heel erg agressief. Even kort en snel iets zingen of zeggen zou ik afraden zonder te clippen. Voor spraak en zingen (lees: niet kort en snel zingen, maar normaal zingen) kan hij gebruikt worden. Ideaal om een gecombineerde uitgang en twee losse uitgangen te hebben.
Ik ben tevreden met deze set.
PS: de setting waar ik hem voor gebruik is in een sporthal.

Fijne stevige microfoons met Aluminium huis.
ligt stevig in de hand, misschien net iets te zwaar maar dat geeft aan de andere kant ook wel weer een prettig gevoel.
Goed bereik en batterijen levensduur is prima.
Fijn voor spraak.

de prijs is netjes niet duur voor dit kwalietijd

Mooi om te zien, wat bereik is, en dat je kunt zien dat er geluidsoverdracht is.
Bij aankomst, deed de rechter ontvanger het niet. Het was last-minute dat ik hem moest gebruiken, stoute schoenen aan en open gemaakt. Toestel is meer lege kast dan electronica in zit, maar affijn. Draadje los, vastgemaakt en hij deed het.
Linker microfoon en kanaal perfect!, rechter microfoon is kwaliteit beduidend minder. heel erg plopperig.
Bereik wel mooi groot, 35 meter geen probleem. Licht verder goed in de hand, maar kwalitatief koop je beter een akg setje voor. Achteraf had ik hem terug moeten sturen, de ene mic gebruik in nog regelmatig, de andere liever niet.
Backlight van schermpje is wel vel, als je in een wat donkere omgeving staat.

De microfoons zelf werken prima, de batterijen gaan wel erg snel dus zorg dat je er genoeg meeneemt, en filter ook de low helemaal weg, dan zijn ze perfect

Ik dacht, dat kan niet waar zijn voor die prijs is de Devine WMD 168 (614 - 638 MHz) draadloos microfoonsysteem een super dingetje.
Indien je het goed afstemd op je mengpaneel, heeft deze set een warm geluid, licht goed in de hand,
en voor elk stemgeluid komt het erg goed over.
Ik ga deze set nog eens goed uitproberen in een grote feesttent, en als deze dan nog steeds voldoet
aan wat ik verwacht van 'n draadloos systeem als deze, ga ik nog een set aankopen.
Dus maak je keuze voor deze prijs is er denk ik geen betere keuze !!
