General

The Sweet SixTeen MD is a wireless handheld microphone from LD Systems. It features a cardioid directional characteristic and this produces a clear, focused signal by rejecting sound that is not directly in front of the diaphragm. It operates in the 863 - 865 MHz frequency band and has 16 channels. The microphone is very comfortable to hold and has a so-called 'soft-touch' surface. Furthermore, the Sweet SixTeen MD possesses a battery indicator that lights up when the batteries are running low. On two AA batteries, an operating time of between 12 and 14 hours is guaranteed. The gain level on the mic is switchable up to 20 dB.
