Sony's WH-1000XM2 are comfortable Bluetooth headphones equipped with the latest technology allowing you to listen to your music in Hi-Res! They feature intelligent noise cancellation that automatically adjusts the sound depending on the environment around you. It does so by analysing your surroundings and adjusting the sound accordingly to ensure that you always have the best audio quality possible. There's even an atmospheric pressure optimiser especially for when you're aboard a plane. If your smartphone has an accelerometer, then you can count on intelligent sound that is customised just for you!
Unique listening experience
You can control the headphones and adjust various settings directly from your smartphone. That includes things like the EQ, turning Surround mode on or off and even changing the direction the sound is coming from! You don't always need access to your phone when you want to do something, however, as the headphones themselves are equipped with on-board controls. For easy transportation and storage, the WH-1000MX2 fold up and even come with their own carrying case. The built-in battery gives you up to 30 hours of listening pleasure from a single charge. Bassen zijn krachtig maar niet overheersend.

Voor de Sony gekozen vanwege zijn uitmuntende noise cancelling en deze is inderdaad erg goed bevallen. Als iedereen druk aan het overleggen/bellen is en er geklust word in het kantoor, word dit er zo goed als volledig uit gefilterd door de noise cancelling en hoor ik alleen nog mijn muziek. Als de noise cancelling aan staat en er is geen of weinig muziek (laag volume) dan hoor je een lichte "hiss" white noise.
Batterijduur is erg goed en kom ik 4 werkdagen mee door.
Geluid is erg goed en geballanceerd. Bassen zijn krachtig maar niet te aanwezig zoals bij de XB950B1.
Draagcomfort is prima (maar ik heb relatief kleine oren).
Bouwkwaliteit lijkt me prima maar kan nog niets over de duurzaamheid vertellen.
Enige minpuntje wat ik ervaren heb is dat de oorkussens wel redelijk warm zijn.
Al met al heel erg blij met mijn aankoop !
