Sony Reveals New Wireless Headphones
Sony's latest generation of headphones proves, once again, that they are at the very forefront when it comes to wireless audio technology. Their new 1000X headphones and earphones, and the h.ear on 2 and h.ear in 2 feature industry-leading technology for audio quality that is sure to excite even the most demanding audiophile. Read on to find out more about the new models.
Top-notch Noise Cancellation, Hi-Res Audio, App Compatibility
The WH-1000XM2 over-ear headphones are the new flagship model that come in black and gold. Not only can you listen to Hi-Res audio via Bluetooth, but they have a special Atmospheric Pressure Optimisation function that ensures top-quality sound even when you're flying in an aeroplane. Thanks to their intelligent noise-cancellation, they can even detect certain activities and automatically adjust the sound accordingly. Other settings like EQ, surround and the Sound Position can be adjusted using your smartphone.
The WI-1000X and the WF-1000X share the same technology as the WH-1000XM2, but they are in-ear rather than over-ear headphone models. The WI-1000X has a comfortable neckband with an inline remote and the earphones themselves are connected to the neckband with a cable. The WF-1000X are fully wireless meaning they're perfect for music fans who find that cables tend to get in the way.
Sony h.ear 2nd generation
The WH-H900N and the WH-H800 Mini Wireless take over from the MDR-1000ABN in Sony's popular h.ear series. These wireless on-ear headphones are equipped with an Ambient Sound mode, a Quick Attention function, gesture control and effects that can be adjusted using your smartphone. Finally, there are the WI-H700 and WI-C400 in-ear headphones that both have a neckband and are at the cheaper end of the new series.
