Ik heb een soort vergelijkend warenonderzoek gedaan met deze lavalier-set XD-V35L van Line 6 en een EW100 G3 set van Sennheiser. De audiokwaliteit van beide is uitstekend. Bij de Sennheiser kan van alles worden ingesteld, bij de Line 6 alleen de zendfrequentie. Bij de Line 6 is er door de analoog/digitaal-omzettingen een minieme vertraging (3-4 milliseconde) maar daar merk je niks van bij spraak. Een belangrijk voordeel van de Line 6 is de ongevoeligheid voor 'zender'storingen. Een nadeel van de 2,4 GHz frequentieband waarmee de Line 6 werkt is echter dat bij obstakels tussen zender en ontvanger het signaal al snel wegvalt. Bij min of meer direct zicht tussen zender en ontvanger is er over tientallen meters geen probleem, maar het in illustratief dat de fabrikant zelfs afraadt om de zender in een broekzak te stoppen! Niet onbelangrijk: de Sennheiser is aanzienlijk duurder...
