General
Part of the affordable Greyhound Series, this XLR cable still features good quality, Klotz-grade components to ensure excellent signal transfer and clear sound. Both the male and female three-pin XLR plugs have been fitted with silver-plated contacts, while the cable core has been made from oxygen-free copper protected by spiralled shielding and wrapped up in a flexible PVC jacket. The result is everything you would expect from a Klotz cable, just at an entry-level price. These XLR cables are finished in black and come in various different lengths; this is the three-metre-long model.

Mijn ervaringen met kabels van Klotz zijn over het algemeen goed. Het merk heeft zich al jaren bewezen.
Nu was ik nieuwsgierig naar hun goedkopere segment Greyhound en ik had xlr kabels nodig voor mijn nieuwe Stagepiano.
Helaas was er iets opmerkelijks met de metalen xlr pluggen zelf.
xlr pluggen horen te klikken, zodra je deze in de aansluiting steekt. Door op de bijbehorende kleine knopje te knijpen, kan je de plug er weer uit trekken. Dat was bij deze helaas niet het geval. Het klikken bleef al uit bij mijn Roland RD2000.
Helaas heb ik dus met enige teleurstelling de kabel geretourneerd.
Hoe de signaal kwaliteit is bij aansluiting heb ik niet kunnen testen.
De kabel ziet er verder prima uit, soepel en degelijk gemaakt.
