General

The enormously useful DAP MA-8120 amplifier is able to manage multi-room audio playback from a single point. This slimmed down matrix amp comes with eight inputs and four outputs. Four line inputs and four microphone inputs each have switchable phantom power so that the signal of up to eight audio sources can be sent to up to four rooms. The volume of each output can be individually adjusted while each output can handle a 100 Volt or 70 Volt speaker and has dedicated two-band tone controls and a damping function.


Hallmarks and Functions of the MA-8120

Besides three-band tone controls, the first channel of the DAP MA-8120 also has a convenient 'talk over' switch placed on the back. Flip this switch and every other channel is dampened, giving priority to the first channel. The gain adjustment knobs per channel are also safely placed at the back next to the inputs for the control panel and announcement microphone. At the front, a small speaker is integrated and acts as a mini-monitor and the whole 2U-high box is easily mounted in a 19-inch rack.
