The Visaton W 250 S - 8 Ohm is a serious 10-inch woofer that stands its ground in both Hi-Fi speaker setups and DIY projects. Thanks to its sturdy 38 mm voice coil, hefty magnet ventilation system and strong drive unit, this speaker offers a high load capacity of no less than 100 watts nominal and 150 watts maximum. The rubber suspension and coated paper cone guarantee tight, detailed bass with considerable dynamics. This woofer is at home in various types of bass reflex enclosures and delivers a wide frequency range up to 5500 Hz, depending on the cabinet chosen. With a sound pressure level of 90 dB at 1 watt at 1 metre and a travel distance of +/- 7 mm, it delivers deep bass without distortion.
