General
The Monacor PA-940 is a powerful mono mixer/amplifier that features several connectors. It is the perfect base for a sound system in (small) pubs, shops and other public places. The PA-940 has a power of 240 watts RMS for either 4 ohms or 70/100 volts output. The 21V phantom power can be turned on or off. The amp is 3U high, allowing for effortless rack mounting.
PA-940: practical and powerful
This Monacor mono mixer has four XLR inputs on the rear, each with a mic/line knob for fine tuning. In addition to the XLR inputs, there's also a line input via stereo RCA for CD players, MP3 players, mixers or other source devices. There's also a pre-out monitor output (stereo RCA). The PA-940 features three types of speaker connections: 4-ohm, 70V and 100V. The amp operates on 230 volts as standard, but it can also function via 24 V DC, when running on batteries, for instance.

Wrote the following about Monacor PA-940 mono mixer amplifier
Wordt gebruikt in 100/70 volt omgeving met daaraan 200 watt aan hoornspeakers. Geen enkel probleem bij langdurige belasting.
Pluspunt: Prijs Prestatie
Minpuntje....helaas geen 'gain' op de microfooningang(en). Echter bij gebruik van standaard microfoons mag dit geen probleem zijn.
