The IMIX-5.3 is an orderly rack mixer by DAP Audio. It features intuitive controls with clear buttons, knobs and faders. This mixer is designed for installation in a 19-inch rack and takes up 4 U of rack space. It comprises three zones, so that you can create various end mixes, which is ideal for locations with multiple rooms or halls.
Possibilities
At the rear, you will find the gain controls. This means that unqualified crew members can not mess with the input levels at the front. At the front, you will find a combo XLR input, however, to connect microphones to. There is also an RCA input for turntables or media players (switchable in impedance). Clear LED VU meters give a direct overview over the outgoing signal levels. The IMIX-5.3 really is a clear and complete rack mixer.

Overzichtelijk intuïtief te bedienen toestel met goede geluidskwaliteit.
Goede schuivers en draaipotmeters,veel aansluitingen mogelijk. Ook de stevige connector voor de externe voedingstrafo met schroefverbinding is veel beter dan het klassieke stekkertje.
De lampjes voor aangifte van een actieve zone vind ik wel wat opzichtig.
Minpunt: mijn toestel heeft een fabricagefout: het linkerkanaal van zone B valt meestal uit.
Geen signaal op zowel rca als xlr uitgang, spijtig maar het moet terug voor vervanging.
Normaal 5 sterren, nu 2.
