General

The DAP WMS8T is a passive black 8-inch surface-mount speaker equipped with 100V transformer taps, making it ideal for various audio installations, both indoors and in sheltered outdoor locations. Thanks to 100V technology, you can easily connect multiple speakers over long distances without losing sound quality, which is particularly useful for larger installations such as in shops, restaurants and clubs. The clever design of the wall-mount plate means you first attach the plate and connect the cabling, after which you can easily snap the speaker in place. This makes installation quick and effortless.

Flexibility and performance

With a power output of 80 watts (240 watts peak) and a sound pressure of up to 111 dB, the WMS8T delivers clear and powerful sound, suitable for both music and speech. The speaker features a ball joint that allows you to tilt it up to 30° and rotate it by 90°, allowing you to tailor the sound to the room in a targeted way. The sturdy, dust- and splash-proof housing also makes the speaker suitable for damp places such as under a shelter.
