For the most extreme conditions where a high-quality sound system is required, Electro-Voice has the EVID-S5.2XW speaker set. These passive installation speakers have a robust ABS enclosure with IP65 rating. This makes them suitable for use outdoors, or in other locations where they could get wet. The EVID-S5.2XW is even resistant to salt water and can therefore be installed on seaside terraces or near swimming pools, for example. Thanks to its 60W 70/100V transformer, it can handle a hefty dose of music and multiple speakers can be driven via the same output on the amplifier. Ideal for larger installations.
