The Visaton FRS 5 XWP – 8 Ohm is a compact 5 cm loudspeaker with a sturdy, black metal basket and just two mounting tabs, making installation straightforward. Thanks to its low resonance frequency, the frequency response starts at 120 Hz and extends all the way up to 20,000 Hz, making this unit suitable for use as a full-range or midrange driver in a variety of systems. The speaker is IP65/67-certified for the front (provided it is correctly installed), UV-resistant and fitted with a durable PET cone and Mylar dust cap. As such, it performs just as well in hi-fi or small PA systems as it does in fixed security or 100V installations.
