The Visaton SL 83 – 4 Ohm is a compact full-range loudspeaker which, with its 8 cm form factor and plastic cone, is ideal for applications where reliability and durability are essential. Thanks to its ferrite magnet, this speaker can withstand harsh environmental conditions, making it not only suitable for AVAS systems but also a perfect fit for column speakers. With a rated power of 8 watts and an average sound pressure level of 88 dB per watt at one metre, this speaker delivers clear sound in the range from 130 to 16,000 Hz. The SL 83 is also robust thanks to its IP X5 and IP X7 ratings and can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to +105 °C. This makes it suitable for use in demanding projects, both indoors and outdoors.
