General

The Visaton FX 16 WP - 4 Ohm is specially designed for situations where only the best is good enough. This 16 cm (6.5") speaker combines ruggedness with sound quality thanks to its corrosion-resistant cabinet, fully waterproof construction and plastic basket, cone and grill. Its IP65 rating* guarantees protection against water, while silicone-coated cabling and encapsulated magnet make it extra resistant to the elements. Ideal for use on boats, ships or outdoor areas, also thanks to operation down to -40°C according to EN 60068-2-1 and the UV-resistant ASA plastic. The frequency range covers 60 to 20000 Hz, with a maximum output of 100 watts and an average sensitivity of 86 dB (1 W/1 m). Practical: mounting is easy with the supplied seal and template.
