Following the success of their popular Thermo-Aged acoustic guitars, Ibanez offers the AVCB9CE-NT Artwood Vintage Thermo Aged electro-acoustic bass, which can produce the sound of a classic, aged instrument. This is due to the special treatment of the solid Sitka spruce top, the scalloped X-bracing, and the maple bridge plate. The result is a sound that's characteristically dynamic, harmonious, rich, and full. To amplify this, the AVCB9CE-NT bass is equipped with a Fishman Sonicore piëzo pickup and an Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with built-in tuner.

Standaard zitten er zwart gecoate snaren op van ibanez en deze heb ik 2 maanden geleden vervangen door D'Addario EPBB17. Door bronze snaren te gebruiken veranderd de klankkleur natuurlijk. Persoonlijk vond ik de gecoate snaren beter klinken. Zeker de hoge tonen klinken dan echt oud/vintage. Dus ik ga weer terug naar de originele. Gitaar is goed afgewerk en het geluid versterkt is geweldig.
Prijs kwaliteit is top.
