General

Designed with the help of renowned session musician and Peter Maffay's in-band bassist Ken Taylor, the Ortega Signature Series KT-WALKER-V3 electro-acoustic bass features a comfy, high-end build with a short-scale setup. The solid spruce soundboard doesn't just pack the overall tone with definition, but strikes a lighter contrast with the darker flamed mahogany of the back and sides. The mother-of-pearl body bonding, matching mother-of-pearl Roman numeral position marker inlays, and the signature headstock shape and chrome-plated Ortega OTMEB tuners all combine to complete the elegant aesthetics, while the rosewood fretboard, nato neck and arm rest contour support snug and controlled playability. Built for the stage, the on-board Ortega MagusX/B preamp is rechargeable and features an integrated tuner as well as tone and volume pots, giving you total control over the amplified sound. Signature gig bag included.
