General

The Cascha HH 2175 is a bass ukulele that packs a sound ten times the size of its tight dimensions - especially when you plug it in. The body has been built using laminated mahogany finished with a glued-in okoume neck to create a richly warm and full acoustic tone, and this is amplified by a built-in piezo pickup complete with 3-band equaliser controls so you can dial in and tweak your on-stage or studio sound.

The HH 2175: Double Bass-Style Sound

Cascha have pre-loaded this bass ukulele with a set of high-quality Aquila Thundergut strings. These especially elastic, polyurethane strings pull a distinctive and surprising double bass style-sound out of this instrument, and with the help of the built-in tuner, can be kept in perfect pitch in the standard EADG tuning. This low-diving ukulele comes with a padded gig bag to protect it from dust, moisture, and dirt.

Erg leuk instrument! Voor een klein formaat een heel vol geluid en de mogelijkheid tot versterken. Deze staat nu in een houder in de huiskamer en pakt heel makkelijk op om eventjes te spelen. Mijn motivatie om bas te spelen is toegenomen nu deze in het zicht staat. Zeker een aanrader!

Een bas ukelele. Wat moet je daar nu van verwachten?
In eerste instantie aangeschaft als 'hebbedingetje' en als hoog entertainmentwaarde voor op het podium (mooi contrast voor m'n contrabas).
Het was voor mij dan ook een complete verrassing dat die uke ook nog eens goed klinkt! Volledig akoestisch klinkt ie mooi vol en diep alleen was het niet zo luid. Speelt ook nog eens lekker makkelijk en vlot. Maar ik ben dan ook een double bass gewend. Ik pak m'n uke er nu met regelmaat op m'n schoot om eens een bass riffje te spelen of lekker wat aan te klooien (jammen noemen ze dat).
Erg tevreden!!

Prachtig klein ding, de vorm en het hout ziet er goed uit en het klinkt als een echte basgitaar.
