The Mooer SD 50A Black is an acoustic guitar amplifier combo specially designed for acoustic guitarists and singer-songwriters. Thanks to the dual-channel analogue preamp, you can use channel 1 for your instrument and channel 2 for a microphone or an additional source, delivering a natural response and plenty of detail. The speaker configuration, featuring an 8-inch full-range flat-response (FRFR) speaker and a 1-inch tweeter, delivers a clear, balanced sound that doesn’t colour your acoustic tone.

Effects, EQ and practical tools

You don’t need to bring an external pedalboard for extra colour: the SD50A features built-in digital modulation, delay and reverb. You can adjust the effects and EQ independently for each channel, ensuring that guitar and vocals each have their own place in the mix. It’s also designed with live performance in mind, featuring a switchable anti-feedback function per channel and a built-in accurate chromatic tuner. In addition, you have 10 editable presets at your disposal, so your favourite sounds are instantly accessible during rehearsals or gigs.

Jam section, connections and wireless control

The jam mode makes this combo particularly versatile: you get a 150-second looper and a drum machine with 16 grooves that you can synchronise for tight practice and performance sets. You can play music wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.0 or via a wired connection using the 3.5 mm aux input. For live and studio use, there’s a balanced XLR output that you can switch to function as a DI direct output or as a preamp/effects output to a mixer. Recording is possible via USB Micro-B with OTG support (cable not included), and remote control is possible with the optional Mooer F4 wireless footswitch.
