General

Mooer's Black Truck combines six effects pedals in one stylish unit. It has a compressor, overdrive, distortion, modulation, EQ and reverb/delay effects along with a tuner. The newly-developed analogue hi-gain distortion makes it ideal for hard rock and metal guitarists, but this extremely versatile multi-effects unit is suitable for other styles of music too. The Black Track's compressor, overdrive and EQ modules include some that come from the popular Micro Preamp series.

Black Truck: modulation and SPACE

In addition to the wide range of overdrive and distortion sounds on offer, the Black Truck has modulation effects including a phaser, a tremolo and a flanger and for even more ambience you can make use of the digital engine known simply as SPACE. It adds top-quality digital delay and stereo reverb to the proceedings. The modulation and SPACE modules both have their own footswitch with tap tempo functionality. There's an FX loop so that you can add external effects too. The Mooer Black Truck also comes with a soft case included.

Wrote the following about Mooer Black Truck multi-effects with soft case

Echt goed apparaat. Kost eigenlijk maar heel woning als je hoort wat je er mee kan. Ik speel covers en eindelijk is dit een apparaat waar ik 95% van de nummers kan invullen. Analoge OD en Dist, iets anders komt er bij mij niet in. Equalizer gebruik ik als boost. Goede responsive OD, gitaar volume op 50% en equalizer (als boost) aan = bijna clean, gitaarvolume los (en equalizer boost uit) dan een vette overdrive. Dus zonder aan de effect knoppen te hoeven een breed bereik qua OD. Dan de distortion die is echt HI HI gain. Voor de old rock heb ik de gain helemaal linksom (=uit?) en de tweak helemaal links en dan heb ik een mooie oude distortion. Van daaruit kan het alleen maar heftiger, handig voor Neil Young Crazy Horse spul. Mod kan mooi diep, ik gebruik het licht, prettig geluid. Tap op delay reverb of mod of combi is erg handig. Grap, de boost is niet schakelbaar maar.. als je dat onder een preset stopt kun je hem wel schakelen. Voor shimmer specials gebruik ik een zoom MS50 in de loop. Met deze twee compacte pedalen doe ik dan alles! De mid punch is lekker, de EHX soul food kan ook weg. Tuner werkt Ok.
1 attentiepuntje, voeding moet goed zijn anders hoor je de delay schakelen. Dus tot nu toe super tevreden, op naar het podium maar dat komt helemaal goed.

Service van Baxshop is SUPER. Een goed effectpedaal/combinatie zoeken is erg lastig. Ik heb er vele retour gestuurd, en dat mocht, dank jullie wel.
