Keeley's Dark Side is a multi-effects pedal consisting of the Epic Big Fuzz, the Multi Head Tape Delay, the Rotary/Flanger and the U-Vibe/Phaser. This pedal has been built completely by hand using only the best components to ensure the best sound quality. At its heart is a board with analogue fuzz and a 24-bit DSP engine. The Dark Side not only delivers original tones but also unique sounds you can't get from any other pedal. How much longer can you resist joining the dark side?

Kocht er een om een fuzz te vervangen op 1 van mijn 3 pedalboards (en in een klap ook een aantal erg goeie modulaties bij te hebben). Na hem een paar dagen uitgebreid getest te hebben heb ik er gelijk nog 2 besteld voor de overige 2 pedalboards :).
Fuzz: Goede Muff-style Fuzz, met bruikbare klanken over heel de range, ook op lage settings.
Modulatie: Vooral de Phaser en Uvibe klinken erg goed en warm, ook fijn dat je kunt sweepen tussen de 2.
Delay: leuke ritmische multihead delay types, helaas niet in combinatie met modulatie te gebruiken, maar daar kan ik mee leven.
Al bij al hebben de 3 Dark Sides 6 andere pedalen vervangen, dat kan dus qua pedalboard real estate en gebruiksgemak wel tellen !

Une pédale au potentiel quasi infinie.
Les modulations sont à tomber et dont les réglages sont extrêmement fins.
Moi qui n'était pas fan des fuzz, je ne peux aujourd'hui plus m'en passer.
Cela fait presque 25 ans que je joue de la guitare et je peux dire que j'en ai vu passer des pédales et des multi effets mais là on est clairement dans la cour des grands.
Bien sûr je suis fan des floyd mais vous pouvez tout faire avec cette pédale.
L'investissement est conséquent mais elle les vaut.
Du bonheur.

Dit ding heeft genoeg opties om de meest overweldigende geluiden te creëren, daar kun je op YouTube genoeg goede reviews van vinden. Nu een rijtje met nadelen:
-Je kunt geen delay en modulatie tegelijk aanzetten, dat vond ik op den duur wel vervelend.
-Het pedaal is weinig subtiel.
-De delay heeft geen tap-tempo. Er zitten heel veel gave patronen in die je live niet kunt gebruiken omdat het nooit goed in de maat zit.
Verder is het een super pedaal. Nog één klein dingetje: de foto's op deze site kloppen niet helemaal. Op de foto staat een extra jack input om de pedaal volgorde te veranderen maar bij mij was dit gewoon een klein knopje (wat veel makkelijker is!).
