This pack of D'Addario NYXL0946 Regular Light is made for fat feeling chords and supple string-bends. For the best of both worlds, this full set of electric guitar strings combines the slimmest light set or .009s with the wound strings of a regular set of .010s. The NYXL Series of strings also features an improved nickelled-steel formula that makes it 6% more magnetic than standard nickle-wounds. As such, the NYXL0946 strings offer enhanced frequency response with a range of 1 to 3.5kHz to pull more presence and crunch out of your guitar.

D'Addario NYXL0946 Strings: Strength and Stability

Every single NYXL string is made in the D'Addario workshop in New York City. The high-carbon steel core is 20 to 40% stronger than comparable sets and while this means they can handle more tension and snap less often, they're also 131% more stable in terms of tuning, meaning there's much less time spent tuning. This range of strings is perfect for guitars fitted with double-locking or standard tremolo systems or just guitarists with a powerful playing hand.

C’est mon tirant depuis le début, très satisfait, je ne souhaiterai pas changer même essayer autre choix , c’est comme ma femme enfaite !

Après avoir éprouvé bien des jeux de cordes, de toutes marques et tous tirants, ma préférence va définitivement à cette série NYXL. Cela fait maintenant plusieurs jeux, sur plusieurs guitares, durant de nombreux mois que je les utilise. S'il est vrai qu'elles vieillissent plutôt vite/normalement visuellement, le ressenti et leur musicalité demeurent bien plus longtemps que tout ce que j'ai pu tester jusqu'à présent (et j'ai souvent mis des prix abusifs dans mes cordes, pour des marques dont je tairai le nom par décence, mais utilisant des techniques toutes plus foireuses les unes que les autres... ah, les bouts de plastiques qui jonchent le manche de mes guitares et mes doigts... bref). Elles ne constituent pas les cordes parfaites, que je n'ai pas encore pu côtoyer, mais leur rapport performance/prix n'a, pour moi, pas d'équivalent. Leur plus gros défaut reste peut-être le fait qu'elles aient besoin de quelques heures de jeu, après montage, pour dégager tout leur potentiel. Mais cela vaut la peine de les rôder car, ensuite, elles ne bougent plus pour un long moment.

Zelf al enkele jaren een groot liefhebber van de NY XL snaren! Mijn vriendin heeft wat kleinere handen en minder eelt op haar vingers, vandaar de Light strings gekocht. De klank en speelbaarheid blijft hetzelfde, geweldige snaren.
