The Thomastik Jazz Swing has been the king of jazz strings for ages. No wonder many legendary jazz guitarists use these high-grade, handmade flatwound guitar strings. Consisting of gauges .010 to .044, the JS110 Extra Light is the thinnest set from the Jazz Swing series, which also makes it suitable for music styles other than jazz. Id used flat wounds before but wasn't very imoressed so I thought I would give my Gretsch a birthday and get him a new set,I can only say I am most impressed, they totally changed the sound of the guitar and was most satisfied. I certainly would consuder these to be my go to strings in future. Well worth the few extra quids spent, why didn't I do it sooner?
