The Hotone Ampero II Stomp is more than just an upgraded version of its predecessor. This hefty stompbox offers excellent sound quality alongside ultra-smooth of ease. As evidenced by the 4" dynamic touch-screen and the newly-designed interface, it's safe to say Hotone's goal of developing an amp modeller and effects processor that's accessible and intuitive to use by players of all skill levels has been achieved - and then some.

The Ampero II: Built On a Tech-Backed Platform

While older digital multi-effects tend to sound a little lifeless, the next-generation Ampero II comes backed up with the technology needed to offer an authentic, fully dynamic playing experience. The lightweight aluminium housing harbours CDCM HD + F.I.R.E modelling technology which combines with a tri-core DSP and the independent AD/DA conversion of ESS® Sabre® converters to complete a lightning-fast stompbox with masses of computing power.

No Shortage of Options

From using multiple signal paths in series or parallel to firing up as many as twelve FX modules at the same time, the Ampero II Stomp not only sets you up with a ton of options but can double as an 8-in/8-out audio interface for home studio work. On top of that, this pedalboard-friendly unit comes loaded with 20 Celestion® speaker IRs and has room for another 50 custom or 3rd-party impulse responses. To finish the build, Hotone have even integrated a 60-second stereo looper and a handful of other useful functions.
