With the LR Baggs HiFi DNA, you can let your acoustic guitar’s unique character shine through, even when playing through an amplifier. This complete in-body pickup system is designed for steel-string acoustic guitars, including 12-string models; it is not recommended for nylon-string guitars. The lightweight, flexible sensors are highly responsive to your touch and help convey the warmth and dynamics of your instrument. The signals from the bass and treble sensors are processed separately via fully discrete electronics. This ensures that both the low and high frequencies receive the attention they deserve. The system’s high resistance to feedback also makes it ideal for use on stage.

Discreet installation, practical controls

You don’t want to be fiddling with your settings whilst playing. That’s why the HiFi DNA’s volume and tone controls are within easy reach by the sound hole. This allows you to adjust the level and tone with ease. The sensors are fitted using self-adhesive mounts, whilst the supplied mounting template helps to position them correctly. This makes the installation straightforward, but it is not intended as a DIY job: LR Baggs recommends professional installation. So have the system fitted by a professional. Once fitted, the system remains discreetly in place, allowing you to focus on what really matters: the sound and expression of your guitar.
