This LR Baggs Anthem system is a high-quality preamplifier pickup for your acoustic guitar. It allows you to switch between the microphone and the piezo pickup, and it also features phase inversion to keep feedback at bay. The 9V battery has a lifespan of 170 hours and an LED status indicator will let you know when it needs replacing.

I have bought the SL version for a number of other guitars but this one seems to suit my Yamaha FG5 amazingly well. My luthier had no problems fitting it and the sound is nothing short of amazing.
Expensive but good value. If you can stretch to it, go for it. Recommended.

I've got a 1976 Martin that sounds beautiful unplugged but over the years, despite having fitted I think four pickups including a Fishman rare earth and a K&K mini with pre amp , I've never got an amp'd sound that does it justice. This thing is unbelievable. Plugged into a Boss Accoustic Singer Pro it sounds unbelievably sweet. I haven't even spent any time tweaking it yet. Very very happy!

Zonder voorkennis gemonteerd. Dat is prima te doen. Alleen de batterij houder kwam een paar dagen na montage los. Verder probleemloos te monteren. Geluid is beter dan gehoopt. Heel blij met de kwaliteit van deze pick-up

Maandag 16 december door Bax Music een voorversterker in mijn gitaar laten bouwen. Daar het niet erg druk was, kon het dezelfde dag nog, ongelooflijk!
Ik heb afgelopen week natuurlijk de sound gecheckt! Geweldig, wat een prachtig en rijk geluid. Ik weet dat een gitaarmicrofoon nóg beter is, maar met deze LR Baggs Anthem akoestische voorversterker ben ik erg tevreden.
Mijn dank aan Bax Music.

This is a great quality pickup that is easy to install.
It's also nice to be able to blend between a mic & piezo pickup, as well as the fact that the pickup has a battery-level indicator built in.
I would definitely buy this pickup again!
