General
If you want to amplify your acoustic steel-string guitar, then the LR Baggs M1 Active sound hole pickup is the way to do it! Because acoustic guitars are prone to feedback, this design has been fitted with a stacked coil, making it extremely resistant to feedback. You can adjust the sound with the volume control and the adjustable pole pieces. You also get three spare pole pieces in case you use anything other than standard strings, for an optimal sound.
M1 Active: Practically plug & play
In order to get started right away, the M1A comes complete with a hex key and a battery already installed. If it should run out, there's even a spare included. That isn't likely to happen any time soon, however, as the battery lifespan is about 1000 hours. You can drill a hole in your guitar for the output jack, but this is not required. In any case, once the LR Baggs M1 Active pickup is mounted, you can depend on it for years to come!

LR Baggs M1 Active sound hole pickup
Why don't you mention it also has a built in handy string peg remover tool too?

LR Baggs M1 Active sound hole pickup
Quality sound hole pickup, with adjustable poles and volume control. One small gripe - a supply of cork pads to cushion the two clamps would be nice option to have.

LR Baggs M1 Active sound hole pickup

LR Baggs M1 Active sound hole pickup

LR Baggs M1 Active sound hole pickup

LR Baggs M1 Active sound hole pickup
