General
The traditional strings from Martin's flagship series have weathered the test of time. They are designed to provide continuous quality and sound with every set. These are the ideal strings for daily use and they are fit for every acoustic guitarist, whatever his or her proficiency might be. The Martin M140 is a Light set, consisting of gauges from .012 to .054 inches. These sizes are usually used for electo-acoustic guitars as they're neither too rigid nor too supple. The strings are made of high-grade steel, and the wound strings are wound with 80/20 brass, which is an alloy of 80% copper and 20% zinc that provides your bass levels with a deep, rich sound.

Helaas bij het op de gitaar zetten knapte de D snaar bij het stem mechanisme terwijl hij nog niet eens op toon was. Hierdoor werd de snaar onbruikbaar werd....te kort....volgende keer toch maar een duurder setje aanschaffen. Erg jammer.

Alle snaren zon beetje geprobeerd. Gebruik alleen nog deze. Gaan na een maandje of wat wel dood, maar tot die tijd precies het geluid wat ik wil. Worden gebruikt op een D18 en een OM21 dpecial.

Met de aanschaf van een set Martin m140 snaren is een einde gekomen aan mijn zoektocht naar de perfecte set snaren voor mijn dreadnought gitaar. Ik heb veel snaren geprobeerd, eigenlijk allemaal best goed maar steeds net niet. De combinatie van een fantastische klank (hoog en laag) en soepele bespeelbaarheid maakt dat ik 5 sterren geef aan Martin m140 snaren. En de snelle levering van Bax maakt mij sowieso blij!

Zeer fijne duurzame snaren. Wanneer ze net nieuw zijn klinken ze mooi helder met voldoende bas. Gezien ik veel optreed met deze snaren is het fijn dat ze niet heel duur zijn. Zo heb je ieder optreden een goed geluid!

Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Snaren zijn goed verpakt en gaan lang mee. Klinken vol en bright maar wel met voldoende goede bas er in. Aanrader!
