General
The M175 Acoustic Bronze is a set of six strings for western guitars. The strings are made of high-grade steel with an 80/20 Bronze winding. The 80% copper and 20% bronze alloy results in a sparkly, defined sound with warm bass tones.
Most acoustic guitars are equipped with a set of light strings with gauges between .012 and .054 inches. If you are looking for a slightly lighter set with a more supple feel, Martin offers a Custom Light set with gauges from 0.11 to 0.52 inches.

Eigenlijk gebruikte ik altijd 'gewone' electrische gitaarsnaren op mijn akoestische gitaar. Echter na een advies van een ervaren muzikant/gitaarreperateur dat ik op de akoestische gitaar beter bronzen snaren kon zetten voor een beter, helderer geluid hiervoor gekozen. Ik ben voor de Martin Strings M175 gegaan, omdat Martin van oudsher toch hét merk is voor de akoestisch gitaar. Wat een verademing! Inderdaad een veel helderer geluid en wat een volume. Zeker met de wound G-snaar. Echt een aanrader! Nooit weer anders.

Erg fijne snaren, spelen licht en klinken precies zoals ik het graag heb. Verschillende snaren geprobeerd maar kom tot de conclusie dat ik voor mijn Tanglewoods bij deze blijf !!!

Excellente qualité, jamais déçu. Inutile de prendre des Elixir ou autres qui coutent une fortune, de toutes façon un jeu de cordes c'est un mois ou deux max! voir tous les jours si vous faites du studio. Celles ci sont parfaites!

Deze snaren een jaar geleden gekocht voor mijn 30 jaar oude Aria akoestische gitaar. Voorheen ook altijd Martin strings gebruikt en af en toe wat andere merken geprobeerd.Aangezien mijn ervaring met Martin strings goed waren, wederom dit merk gekocht.Geluid klinkt nog steeds prima.
