Martin's Silk & Steel guitar strings are known for their soft feel and sugary sound. This set of custom-gauged acoustic guitar strings feature protective satin-wound ball ends and aren't as noisy as standard strings when sliding along the fretboard. The silk inner-winding also ensures a lower tension compared to similarly-sized strings, making it much easier to pull off bends. That said, this .0115 set of strings are a tad less suited for forceful rhythm parts.

Ik heb de snaren gebruikt op een klein model westerngitaar. Ze bevallen en klinken goed, helder.
Ik meen dat ze bij minder kracht/snarenspanning op de goede toonhoogte te stemmen zijn. Dat was voor mij de reden om ze aan te schaffen. Al met al ben ik gewoon tevreden..
