This MTCN160 Titanium Core string set by Martin has a light tension and is suitable for steel-string acoustic guitars.

The titanium core is surrounded by a nickel winding. Martin Strings Titanium Core MTCN160

Heb deze snaren gekocht ter vervanging van mijn Martin MA140T's welke ik besliste te vervangen door deze set aangezien de oude snaren versleten waren. Na het stemmen van de snaren heb ik er jammer genoeg maar een uurtje plezier aan gehad, aangezien de ball-end van de G-snaar was los gesprongen. Toch maar beslist om terug te keren naar de Martin MA140T's, aangezien ik 5 sets snaren heb voor de prijs van 1 setje MTCN160's. Alsook heb ik 4 maanden met de MA140T's gespeeld zonder problemen, waarbij deze maar een uurtje hebben volgehouden.
