General

Martin are constantly on the lookout for new materials and techniques to enable them to produce guitar strings of superior quality. These Titanium Core strings are the direct result of that desire to continually improve. They're made using a patented process that ensures unsurpassed playing comfort and stability combined with outstanding resistance to corrosion. Because Titanium is just as strong but more flexible than steel, it's easier to press the strings down, resulting in improved playing comfort and less fatigue. This MTCN160 Titanium Core string set by Martin has a light tension and is suitable for steel-string acoustic guitars.

Titanium Core: strong and stable

The titanium core is surrounded by a nickel winding. Nickel was chosen for its natural resistance to corrosion, which means that these strings retain their sound better and last much longer than conventional strings too. The nickel winding also adds stability so that your guitar will remain in tune longer, and you should also notice an improvement in its intonation. We've already mentioned the strength of titanium, but it's also lightweight. That makes it an excellent choice of material for producing some top-quality guitar strings.

Martin Strings Titanium Core MTCN160
