The Lowden F12 Indian Rosewood & Sitka Spruce is a hand-built western guitar made from high-quality, solid wood. Known for its versatility and comfort, the F-body (grand auditorium) is ideal for guitarists who want to switch effortlessly between fingerstyle, light strumming and more expressive playing. Despite its compact size, this guitar offers excellent projection and sustain, all without feeling unwieldy or clunky. This guitar is a true all-rounder, suitable for different playing styles and musical genres, and it also allows singer-songwriters to go every which way.
Craftsmanship and high-quality materials
The combination of a spruce top with rosewood for the sides and back creates an open, responsive sound with a clear attack, rich overtones and a solid, defined bass. Spruce (sitka spruce) is known for its wide dynamic range, making the F12 both subtly and powerfully responsive to your playing style. Every detail reflects the craftsmanship of the Lowden luthiers from Northern Ireland, from the resonance of the soundbox to the comfortable neck and ready-to-play tuning. The guitar features Gotoh SG381 tuning machines that, together with Elixir Phosphor Bronze strings (12-53), ensure tuning stability and long string life. This guitar comes with a sturdy case, so you can store and transport it safely at all times.
