General

The Yamaha V20SG violin boasts an exquisite build that's based on the ideas of Guarneri del Gesù for a rich, stunningly projected sound. The body of this 4/4-size violin is made up of a spruce soundboard and a flamed maple back and sides, and each example has been painstakingly dipped in a specially-mixed oil-based varnish to guarantee singular aesthetics. As befits a first-class violin, Yamaha have made sure the V20SG offers top-level playability and sound, opting for a deluxe Aubert bridge and a Wittner fine-tuner for the E-string. In addition, the renowned Japanese instrument-builder includes in a matching VHC2 case, a pernambuco bow and a block of Pirastro Schwarz resin with this premium violin.
