The DAS Audio Action-515A Active DSP speaker has a potent, full-range design, giving it the power to take the live system of any venue and push it up a few notches. The 15 inch 15MI4 speaker at the core boasts an authoritative low-frequency response that will back up live bands as well as DJs and is supported by a bi-amped system with a dual-channel Class-D amplifier with a 1,000 Watt peak. Meanwhile, the treble frequencies are taken care of by an M-34 compression driver which, combined with the speaker, completes an impressive 45Hz to 20kHz frequency range and, when you combine all of that with the maximum SPL of 131dB at 1 metres, this speaker guarantees plenty of room-filling output.

Fully Flexible

The Action-515A comes packed inside a durable birch plywood cabinet that comes coated in scratch and scuff resistant ISO-flex paint, so it comes fully equipped to take on touring life as well as stage life. The trapezium shape of the speaker supports tilt-back positioning, so it can serve as a stage monitor, while the M10 rigging points can be used to install this speaker as part of a fixed system or front-fill. The flexibility extends to the internal workings as well, where a DAScontrol™ interface complete with rear LCD display provides quick access to handy presets, EQ modes, delay settings and gain controls.

Complete Connection

This speaker supports a broad array of connection options, including two balanced XLR/jack microphone/line inputs, an extra 3.5mm mini-jack input and a loop-thru XLR port for signal distribution.
